Core Updates:

• Thank you for being one of the 10k+ people that have subscribed to this substack!

• The GPTZero.me website and landing page has been completely redesigned!

• We’re building a product with GPTZero technology for educators to use in their day-to-day workflow, that hopefully students will like too. Yesterday at midnight, we opened a sign up list for our product launch on GPTZero.me. Over 3K+ teacher have registered. If 3/10 people interested in GPTZero are teachers, then we know we’re doing something right talking to teachers.

In another major update, I can say “we”, as GPTZero is no longer a solo project. I’ve brought onto the team my best friend from college who also ran Ignite Stem, a facebook group and conference for educators learning about how technology can be applied to enhance their teaching.

Tech Updates + Guide:

• Shoutouts to Streamlit team for all their incredible support and resources.

• Bug fixed: If you were experiencing crashes, you can try out the GPTZero beta again. Asynchronous model loading has been implemented to avoid model crashes.

• Bug fixed: If you were receiving a “value error” after inputting your text, the beta didn’t properly handle any bizarre punctuation such as “!!!” or “-:)” . This bug has been fixed!

• If nothing was happening after inputting the text, please use a text input of > 5 words or < 2500 words. Thanks.
